The availability of military style weapons to civilians has made public massacres too common. Legislation should be introduced to:
1. Ban all future sales of military-style and/or semi-automatic and automatic weapons.
2. Ban the sale and possession of extended clips and magazines. Also limit the number of standard magazines that can be purchased at once.
To balance these laws and support the hardworking Americans that rely on weapons manufacture for employment, offer contracts for the production of alternate goods to companies that significantly reduce or eliminate weapons manufacture.
Our nation's manufacturers changed gears and made planes, etc in WWII to stop the massacres in Europe. Let's come together and make products other than guns to stop the massacres at home.
