We ask the President to encourage Congress to introduce legislation which would require advertising agencies to represent all body types of men and women featured in advertisements. This would help to eliminate dangerous trends in negative body typing. This legislation, if passed, would also increase opportunities and job growth in the modeling industry and increase marketplace revenue from increased sales due to a wider customer base being reached. This could be done by the creation of multiple adds for the same product of the use of multiple models in single adds. Thank you.
