Most Americans can no longer trust campaign print or television ads. Americans need truthful accurate information to make informed voting decisions. If every vote counts then every ad informing a voter must be held to a higher standard. Americans deserve and need legal protection to stop the lies that have polluted the 2012 Presidential Campaign. Urge Congress to pass legislation to help all Americans make informed decisions with their vote. A democracy can only function if there is full participation of all Americans, and that participation requires an informed public. And Public Trust must be protected.
