introduce legislation requiring owners of firearms to be members of the National Guard and subject to its requirements.

Created by J.A. on August 26, 2015

In order to maintain a well regulated militia, we the people of the United States of America call upon government to mandate by law that all current and future owners of firearms be required to serve in the National Guard and fulfill all of its duties and obligations.

If age or disability prohibits a firearm owner from fulfilling his or her duty, equivalent service can be found in support or administrative positions.

When budget constraints do not allow firearm owners to be members of the National Guard, service in a system of federally regulated militias can take its place. Militias must be self funded and meet most obligations to their states and country that the National Guard provides. Compensation to militias can be provided if they are activated in times of emergency or war.
