introduce legislation that will allow the United States to proactively address Climate Change.

As citizens of this wonderful country, we belive that Climate Change is an emergency that must be taken seriously. We belive that the American Way of Life is a blessing, but we also believe that the threat of unchecked, unmitigated extreme weather events associated with climate change pose a real threat to our continuing enjoyment of our American Way of Life. The debate about the causes of climate change is detrimental to our national discourse, and is not conducive to taking proactive stesps towards resolving this emergent crisis. We want national legislation, be it a carbon tax or a cap and trade system, that will immediately curb the quantity of Green House Gase Emissions in our atmosphere. We are parents, and citizens, and we love our country. We can do this.
