Introduce legislation that would ensure that any future bills on whether or not to raise the debt ceiling be 100% clean

For the sake of sound governance the US needs to be sure that when the next debt ceiling debate arises neither party has any opportunity to attach any extraneous demands to the resultant bill. The bill should entirely be about whether or not to raise the debt ceiling without allowing anyone the opportunity to strategically manipulate the debate for political ransom. Such tactics have proven to be hugely harmful the country and potentially harmful to the entire world. The Tea Party caucus of the House Republicans have proven to be willing to abuse the most recent debt ceiling vote for political gain, risking a global economic catastrophe in the process. There is no doubt they will abuse the debate again unless action is taken to prevent them from having the opportunity to do so.
