Patriot day is a holiday celebrated in Massachusetts and Maine that occurs every year on the third Monday in April.
The Obama administration should introduce legislation to congress that declares the third Monday in April a national holiday in honor of not only those who lost their lives or were injured in terrorist attacks, but also those who help others in this country when they need it most.
