A review should be enacted of all Federal elected officials. For too long members of both sides of the aisle have been incapable of performing their duties as legislators, shifting blame for failed policy back and forth with reckless abandon. Our elected officials spend more time bickering instead of compromising for the good of the Nation. The review that this petition requests involves examining the performance of each elected official, the amount of votes attended while in office regardless if they vote yay or nay, and other similar performance related standards. Those who perform satisfactorily may run for reelection. Those who don't will leave office at the end of their term and may not run again for at least one term. We hired them to do a job. They should be held to standard.
