Introduce and push for a bill in Congress that makes it illegal to discriminate based on gender identity or expression. The current patchwork of laws does not provide adequate protection for people that are simply being themselves and trying to live their lives. It is not, nor has it ever been okay to deny housing or a job to a person because of their gender identity or gender expression. This is a simple bill that can provide peace of mind and a sense of basic equality to million of transgender and gender-nonconforming people around the country.
