Introduce stringent eligibility criteria for EB-1C Visa (Multinational Managers)

Created by S.E. on October 02, 2015

We petition the US Government to introduce a minimum educational qualification requirement for the EB-1C Multinational Manager or Executive Category for permanent workers.

The current eligibility criteria only requires 1 year of managerial experience outside of the US. Unlike the other EB categories, EB-1C does not require any evidence of an advanced college degree. While the EB-1 represents foreign nationals with outstanding abilities and is undeniably true for the categories EB-1A-Persons of exceptional ability and EB-1B-Outstanding researchers, the EB-1C allows workers without any such ability to secure a permanent worker visa. Often, we see that the workers who are approved under EB-1C category would not even qualify for the EB-3 category.
