Being a Congressional leader should not be a lifelong career, nor should Congress' role be to obstruct progress of this country's policies and laws. For far too long, career Congressional leaders have been able to stall and obstruct the progress of the United States, and most recently has done nothing but embarrass its citizenry.
Having term limits would force the hand of Congressional leaders to pass meaningful legislation, and also remove some of the corporate influence on regulations, policies, and laws.
