Introduce UN Security Council resolution for the Int'l Criminal Court to investigate ISIS war crimes against women

Created by L.F. on August 16, 2015

We ask that the U.S. Government instruct our U.N. Security Council representative to request an International Criminal Court investigation on war crimes being perpetrated by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), including rape and sexual slavery.

There is now ample evidence that Yazidi and other women in areas under ISIS control are subjected to systematic rape. The I.C.C. should open an investigation into the various war crimes - including rape and sexual slavery - being perpetuated by the ISIS leadership.

This should be done so that these individuals may one day be prosecuted for their crimes under international law.
