Introduce A United Nations Resolution Condemning Pakistan's Lack of Prosecution for "Honor Killings".

Created by P.G. on May 28, 2014

In Pakistan, 1,000 women are murdered annually in so-called "honor killings". The simple act of marrying someone you love can cost you your life. Women are stoned and beaten to death by angry mobs, including family members.

The President of Pakistan promised a crackdown on these killers, but has failed to follow through.

This petition demands the White House press this issue in the United Nations against Pakistan. We request the White House introduce a Resolution condemning Pakistan. If Pakistan doesn't comply with changing their laws and prosecution regarding these murders, crippling economic sanctions should be the next step.
