The people of Connersville, Indiana are in dire need of a new industry that will significantly lower unemployment of Fayette County: the highest unemployed county in Indiana. We NEED a large company in our community to replace the two largest employers, which went out of business.
Carbon Motors, Inc. is a new start-up company focussed on engineering and manufacturing task specific police vehicles. These police cars will operate using new diesel engines and will be of a design most needed and wanted by a number of police forces and communities around the country and the world.
Carbon Motors will employ approximately 1300 people at the plant. The local economic spill over will definately spur growth within the area and spawn other employment opportunities in other businesses in the area.
