Invest in the creation of bipedal land drones to reduce the # of civilian casualties caused by aerial bombardment drones

Drone technology has revolutionized warfare but it's implementation is far from it's full potential. Air based drones are incredibly useful, but are more likely to cause civilian casualties with area effecting ballistic missiles. Land based bipedal drones would be capable of using antipersonnel weapons, reducing the risk of collateral damage, as well as be mobile in a variety of terrains especially urban areas where bombings are incredibly risky. Bipedal land drones would also reduce the need to put our living human troops into the line of fire. Overall the introduction of bipedal land drones would reduce unnecessary loss of life in future American wars.
