Invest equal time, money and manpower on mental health resources, funding and laws as dedicated to gun control issues.

We ask that the President direct as many resources to the issue of aiding indivuals and their families who face difficulties related to mental health issues as he dedicates to gun control. We believe that guns are only the current vehicle for many of those who are at the point where they feel hurting themselves and others is a viable solution. There are many means for those individuals to be harmful, some even more dangers than guns, but all connected by a common thread; a broken mental health system. We do not believe that this will eliminate all threats or dangers, nor do we believe that there is one solution. We know this issue must be addressed as agressively or more so than any other issue relating to violence and harm to our citizens, especially our children. Thank you Mr. President.
