Invest in fuel cell research to help remove dependency on foreign oil and promote a greener economy

Created by E.B. on October 04, 2012

Fuel cells are one of the most promising energy sources to remove dependence on foreign oil, lower greenhouse gases, and promote jobs here in our country. Fuel cells cover a wide range of applications from hydrogen fuel cells for vehicles to Solid Oxide Fuel Cells which can provide power for large areas and eventually replace green house gas emitting power plants.
Fuel cells can utilize a large variety of fuels to generate power that largely can be manufactured or obtained right here in the U.S. Funding for the research and development of these products will not only lead to more jobs but also energy independence. Hydrogen fuel cells emit only water and hydrogen can be produced anywhere with water an electricity. Lets start funding the future now and make the US the fuel cell leader.
