We face an challenge that is unprecedented in modern times when it comes to the economy. We have a choice, we can stop spending money and therefore remove more money from the economy, or we can spend money on "good debt", i.e., infrastructure which creates jobs, adds money to the economy and reverses the decline in American infrastructure. The second component is education. Make it easier for out of work people to get an education and be more innovative in the world market; hence, creating even more jobs and revenue in our economy. Neither of these are short-term solutions, but they are the right thing to do to get America back on track.
