We the people request that the administration invest in a Interstate High Speed Rail System. This system much like the Dwight D. Eisenhower Highway System. We the people believe the investment in an Interstate High Speed Rail System will help save our struggling economy by putting people back to work, increasing property values in access areas and allow people greater access to new job markets. It will also allow better National Defense by allowing the military speedy access to all points of the nation.
We have a blue print for this plan already, Dwight D. Eisenhower knew the interstate Highway System would allow of all these things, and It did. The addition of the rail system will only combine and magnify the effects
