Ok, no more Death Star. But why not a NCC-1701?
This ship isn't capable of blowing up planets, and does not have a flaw of that can be exploited by a one-man starship. It can create jobs for USA, improve the defence capability and unite of the whole mankind. Frankly speaking I understand current difficulties in faster-than-light travel, and thus no warp-drive should be alright. But full-impulse? That shouldn't be a problem right?
