invest more in Financial Aid for College, and in The People by adjusting what our income tax funds are used for.

Created by M.M. on November 07, 2011

The People need more of an investment in our education. The government spends roughly 26% of the americans income tax on national defense and roughly 4% on education and job training (only 0.8% for Student Financial Aid for College).
A lot of The People find it difficult to pay bills (mortgage, utilities, transportation, etc.) AND to pay for higher education to get a higher-wage job to follow their dreams and not just work their life away just to survive. The government needs to invest in their people's education more.
National Defense IS important, however just a change of 2% or so would drastically increase The People's ability to advance their education opening them up to more opportunities to do something worthwhile and fulfilling without raising taxes. Invest in The People.
