Energy is a major component in the production of manufactured goods. In order to provide the sustainability of energy needed to run daily life, we must invest more time and resources into developing more efficient ways of creating energy. Developing and adapting such energy solutions such as Solar-Energy and Hydro-Energy will create effective and renewable sources of energy. America must have an energy policy that insures access to unlimited renewable energy. Through affordable and reliable energy, we will be able to insure the long-term provision of energy. As well as creating a new energy source, this policy would create thousands of jobs for American workers. Oil, natural gas, nuclear and clean coal remain the top contributors to America’s energy but a new, renewable source is needed.
