Invest in a space-based military branch.

Those who sign this petition believe that the US should invest in a space based military and should begin research on it as soon as adequeate funding is secured. Investing in a space-based military branch would: increase US defence capabilities, promote job creation in the areas of manufacturing, engineering and military, and would protect ordinary US citizens. We would get a military in space faster than other countries and would have a head start in the area.
