A homeowner was assaulted in his own house by a stranger. The homeowner was arrested for defending himself at his own house. The stranger had assaulted the homeowner and his wife. Police were called and the homeowner was arrested for assault. How can a homeowner be arrested for defending himself in his own house. Innocent people being attacked at there own home, then arrested when they defend themselves. From what was displayed by the deputies of Harris County Sheriffs Dept, if a sex offender breaks in your house and attacks your family then you will be arrested for assault trying to protect your family. This could happen to you, so our rights must be protected. Everyone's freedoms are at stake if this is allowed to happen!
