investigage human trafficking, aid in the abolishment of sex slavery, prosecute american engaging in illegal sex abroad

Created by L.T. on March 12, 2012

When africans were bought and sold into slavery in the united states, the 'going rate' was the equivalent of $40,000. Today, children (primarily girls under the age of 14) are sold daily at an average rate of $195. The average age of victims when they are first pulled into a trafficking situation ranges from 11-14. The actual ages of boys, girls, and women who are currently being trafficked can range from 9 to mid-40s.

These crimes against women and children should be investigated, aid should be sent to rescue children enslaved in brothels and any Americans engaging in illegal sex acts abroad should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

This is a critical human rights issue, and should be abolished immediately. What would you do if it was someone you loved?
