Mr. President. You promised a transparent government. However, over 4000 inventions that would free us from the grip of oil dependence are classified in the Patent office. I call on an investigation as to which patents are classified for true national security, and which are to protect the oil industry profits. The abuse of classification of inventions designed to free humanity and advance our species is obvious. The transparency you promised is NOT a reality. The system seems to protect the financial interests of corporations more than protect our national security. The time for us to advance using what we already know is now. Our technological advancement is being deliberately suppressed. I call on a real investigation and an end to this abuse.
