Governor Snyder did knowingly and willing change the source of supply water to the residents of Flint, MI to a known polluted source without the ability or attempt to make the water safe for human consumption. Despite evidence of the water being unhealthy and repeated calls to switch to safer water, the governor and his administration have not done so.
Since the willful changes made by the state government, the water supplied to the residents of Flint, Michigan, has been tested to contain unsafe levels of several pollutants - including lead. Decades of credible research and multiple studies list the detrimental effects of high levels of lead and unsafe chemical consumption.
