Investigate Grover Norquist and his organization, Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) for possible illegal threats to members of Congress. Apparently ATR threatens to "primary" candidates who break the "Taxpayer Protection Pledge" (TPP).
Such strategy seems un-American and may be treasonous, since it seems to undermine the economic security of our nation and its people.
The ongoing economic problem in the US is not likely caused by high taxes but by spending. However, the signers of the TPP also seem to only target social program spending cuts.
Subject to the investigation, ATR's non-profit tax status should be eliminated, as their efforts benefit (for profit) only a small segment of citizens, the very wealthy, who would NOT be hurt by Norquist-induced spending cuts to social programs.
