Memorial Day is a holiday to honor those who have died protecting our country. These are men and women who have volunteered or answered the call to go to combat, and paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
Those who are able to return home should never be lost due to the inadequacies of our government. Between backlogs, despicable conditions of hospitals, and now secret lists, you have failed our troops.
Do not put this off. Take no vacations until this is fixed. Investigate these failures. Terminate the employment of those responsible. Use executive orders or passage of new statutes to see to it that this is resolved quickly and that this never happens again. Honor the fallen troops this Memorial Day by properly serving those who have survived and returned home in need of medical care
