Many states' Attorneys General filed and won a lawsuit against banks for intentional fraudulent foreclosure activity, including lying to customers, "losing" documents on purpose, denying modifications to qualified homeowners and charging outrageous fees while still taking people's homes.
Since that settlement, Bank of America employees across the country have come forward to say that BoA is continuing these practices. BoA thinks they're above the law, and that they can do whatever they want to the rest of us without consequence.
Banks are not above the law. Prosecute Bank of America for continued fraud and abhorrent practices.
