On March 5TH 2013, Mark Kelly purchased an AR-15 and .45 caliber handgun. When questioned about the AR-15 and handgun he stated that he was making a point and was going to give it to the local sheriff's department.
Currently on BATF form 4473 question 11a clearly states
"Are you the actual transferee/buyer of the firearm(s) listed on this form?
Warning: You are not the actual buyer if you are
acquiring the firearm(s) on behalf of another person. If you are not the actual buyer, the dealer cannot transfer the firearm" By completing the purchase with the intent to give the firearm to someone else Mark Kelly violated current BATF regulations and Federal and State laws.
We the people demand a formal investigation and prosecution of Mr. Kelly for performing a Straw Purchase of a long rifle.
