Investigate and stop the artificial price increase in oil and gas prices that has plagued any chance of economic recovery. Changes need to be made to control or stop speculation trading that artificially increases the price of oil and gasoline. An investigation also need to be launched into the monopoly and lack of production from oil refineries that drives up prices. Oil companies are making record profits at the expense of Americans and something need to be done if the government expects any type of economic recovery.
