investigate any person openly planning to circumvent laws by disenfranchising employees rather than providing benefits.

Created by R.C. on November 17, 2012

Corporate representatives have publicly stated their intentions to reduce hours of employees so that they will not qualify as full-time employees and will not be required to receive fair healthcare benefits under the Affordable Care Act as passed into law and taking effect in 2014. At the expense of hard-working citizens in a tough economy and at a vulnerable income level, these corporate representatives have stated their intentions to flagrantly ignore the law and disenfranchise workers in a fashion questionable in its ethics and conceivably fraudulent in its intent. Though businesses require certain decisions be made in order to stay successful, each of these situations should be investigated, on a case-by-case basis, for possible prosecution under fraud, trade, and labor laws.
