Investigate Arizona's Department of Economic Security unemployment insurance division.

Created by J.L. on January 29, 2014

Arizona's Department of Economic Security Unemployment Division has a longstanding policy to be pro business when it comes to unemployment claims. As a result claimants are often illegally denied unemployment benefits. This creates a situation in which the claimant has to file an appeal.

Determination Deputies as well as Administrative Law Judges in the UI department in Arizona take the word of the employer over the word of the employee. They make decisions that have no basis in the law.

The UI program was instituted to help people who lost their jobs through no fault of their own. In Arizona, the system is setup to be PRO Business and often claimants are denied benefits through no fault of their own.
