During the past few years, Americans have been struggling to pay their mortgages. Americans who have homes are now faced with mortgages that are underwater. As one of their customers, I am often told that both the investor holding the mortgage note will not modify the loan and also if I was behind, I would get help. From recent stories both in the news and on different websites, it is clear that Bank of America is not modifying or helping customers with their mortgage loans in helping to reduce the principal reduction or lowering their payments. This bank has been sued and was told to help customers but isn't helping most. This petition is have Americans who are having similar problems to voice their opinion and bring this matter to the Federal government for relief.
