In 2014 the administration of Rick Snyder implemented an emergency financial manager circumventing the voting process and appointing someone to run Flint, MI. The EFM thought it would be best to cut corners by drawing water from the flint river as opposed to the Detroit water supply completely ignoring all common sense and science behind switching water sources and the effects it may have on aging infrastructure. While poisoning children of Flint over the course of a year and denying scientific evidence in the public light, the Governor let the disaster become even larger despite knowing he was literally contributing to mental impairment of children and the difficult economic setting of flint. He is avoiding taking responsibility for his actions and should be held criminally accountable.
