The College Board runs several tests that colleges look at for admission and credit. These tests include the SAT and the Advance Placement Tests. However, many people with disabilities find it hard to deal with the College Board when trying to get accommodations for these tests. One of the most difficult accommodations to get from the College Board is usage of a computer for writing sections of these tests. It often takes multiple rejections and appeals for this accommodation to be rewarded. For people who have problems with their motor skills necessary for writing due to a disability, this accommodation is essential.
