"If two or more persons ... conspire to ... prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States ... they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both."
The GOP's use of the Hastert Rule and H Res 368 usurped unconstitutional veto power over legislative business in an attempt to extort the US government into hindering the execution of the Affordable Care Act. They threatened our system of checks and balances and the world financial system. They cost the US $24 billion and 900,000 jobs in growth.
I call on the US Department of Justice to investigate all of the perpetrators, Citizens United-empowered donors, and planners for this alleged serious crime.
