The LA Times recently reported that UC Davis Chancellor Linda B Katehi, while under contract with UC Davis accepted a $70,000/year consulting position with DeVry University, a shady For-Profit-Education Firm "being investigated by state & federal authorities on allegations of deceptive advertising about job and income prospects for graduates" (Theresa Watanabe, LA Times).
Sacramento Bee reported in her Chancellorship,she accepted $420,000 in cash & stock from John Wiley & Sons, a private Science, Math, & Engineering Textbook Publishing firm.
