With the acknowledgement that more students are burdened with heavy loan debt upon graduation, why are we not talking about the actual costs. Most classes are not worth the cost regardless of the school. I find 30K - 50K per year insulting, especially the first two years. Those first two years are generally spent learning things we should have learned in high school or things that will be completely useless to us when we graduate. What makes the high cost worse is it seems that many professors are spending less time teaching. If I am paying for your class, I expect you to teach it. Grad school is even worse in terms of professor interaction.
