Investigate Rep. Trey Gowdy's redaction of emails by Hillary Clinton for criminal violations of House Ethics Manual.

Created by A.A. on October 19, 2015

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-South Carolina) redacted and released to the press, an email sent on March 18, 2011 by Sydney Blumenthal to then Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. Rep. Gowdy added the words "redacted due to sources and method" implying the redacted words were classified information. In his Oct. 18, 2015 letter to Rep. Gowdy, Rep. Elijah Cummings states that "the State Department consulted with the CIA on this production, the CIA reviewed these documents, and the CIA made no redactions to protect classified information."
In light of Rep. Mcarthy's (R- California) admission of the purpose of the Benghazi Committee we require Rep. Gowdy's actions be investigated for criminal violation of chapter 4 of the House Ethics Manual which prohibits use of official resources for political purposes
