Rep Darryl Issa (R - CA) has accused the President and/or the White House of targeting Tea Party groups through the IRS.
He has said the President has an enemies list. He has called the WH spokesman of being a "paid liar". He has released partial transcripts of interview with IRS officials to implicate President Obama.
Now it turns out that none of this is true. It appears as though their was absolutely nothing political about the IRS scrutinizing Tea Party groups. It was just public officials trying to do their jobs.
But the damage has been done. It was national news for weeks after the initial allegations came to light. The only way to set the record straight is for The People to demand investigation of the Oversight Chairman.
