Investigate the DEA Confiscation of Industrial Hemp Seeds

Created by G.M. on May 14, 2014

Under the latest farm bill the cultivation of industrial hemp is legal as long as it is properly regulated by state agricultural authorities. The Kentucky Department of Agriculture bought 250 pounds of industrial hemp seeds from a supplier in Italy to begin a program to determine the viability of replacing tobacco with industrial hemp as a cash crop for farmers.

The DEA illegally confiscated the seed.

We the People demand a full investigation into this unlawful activity, and that the President, as head of the executive branch of our government, take such steps as are necessary to assure that this never happens again.
