Investigate the Department of Energy EV Project and Ecotality (Blink) Relationship Dispute

Created by M.B. on August 23, 2013

ECOtality was awarded $99.9 from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 by the United States Department of Energy for The EV Project and officially launched in late 2009

This created the biggest revolution in Electric Vehicle Deployment in the United States. As of 2nd Quarter 2013 11,846 Level 2 & 87 DCFC Chargers have been deployed under the program, helping to drive a 100,000 Plug In Hybrid (PHEV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) sales in our country

On August 12, 2013, DOE suspended payments to Ecotality for EV Project. Blink Network operated by Ecotality may go dark in the potential bankruptcy proceedings, including 4,061 Public chargers

President Obama must ensure Blink Network continuity during the dispute for all EV Drivers who rely daily on this grid to commute!
