Investigate the Detroit beating of Steve Utash to the same degree as the Trayvon Martin case

Created by M.H. on April 05, 2014

This past week in Detroit, MI a 54 year old man, Steve Utash was driving down an east Detroit street when a 10 year old boy walked out in front of his vehicle and was struck by Mr Utash. Upon stopping to check on the welfare of the child, Mr Utash was surrounded by a group of more then 30 people from the neighborhood, among them at least 10 of them beat Mr Utash on 2 different occasions and robbed him of money, credit cards, etc. If the tables of race were turned on this unbelievable crime, opportunists such as Jackson and Sharpton would be all over this. As a measure of fairness to the Utash family the United States Justice Department should investigate this crime in assistance with the Detroit police to the same extent of involvement they had with the Trayvon Martin case.
