Trump's campaign has numerous ties to Russia, his previous campaign manager worked for Russia in Ukraine, and Trump frequently repeats Russian propaganda and urges Russia to attack American citizens and groups via cyberwarfare.
It is clear at this point that the alt-right is, at a minimum, frequently repeating Russian propaganda. However, the ties may go deeper than that; they might actively be employed by Russia to spread propaganda inside the US with the aim of destabilizing our country. If so, it is important that this be brought to light and that people working for our enemies be dealt with appropriately.
