eBay has cornered the market for non-UPC coded items that millions of small sellers vend online through eBay; it is a monopoly. Many moms & pops depend on those sales for survival. There is no market constraint on ebay's treatment of these small sellers. Fees have risen astronomically in the last few years. Draconian requirements are placed on small sellers. A small seller with 100% positive feedbacks and 100% daily performance statistics can find her sales automatically restricted, her ability to earn a living drastically curtailed by even one customer dispute, no matter how unreasonable, and there is no appeal. This absolute power over individuals by a large corporation is the very evil that government is intended to rein in. The FTC should investigate ebay business practices now.
