Red River County DA, Val Varley & County Judge John Miller have blatant disregard for human rights. There are several cases of racial disparity in sentencing of African Americans, indigent whites & other cultures in this county. In particular the case of Vergil Richardson & his brother, Mark Richardson in which, the DA, County Judge, Sheriff & other county employees conspired to wrongfully convict and sentence Vergil and his brother on false drug charges. Even after the State of Texas special prosecutor Nicole Habersang signed off to drop charges for lack of evidence citing the brothers innocence, Judge Miller yet refused to drop the charges. There are several other cases in which others have been wrongfully charged and/or indicted without cause in cowboy-justice town of Clarksville, TX.
