Express Scripts is a monopoly that leaves consumers with no other options when having prescriptions filled. The health insurance companies have forced the consumer to use the mail in model that is Express Scripts or pay extremely high prices locally. Express Scripts even reaches into the doctor's offices dictating the format in which prescriptions must be written. The Company forces substitutions even when not permitted by the physician. The company will not fill emergency prescriptions locally if one has reached the 90 day limit dictated by their terms. Customers are sent through a maze of departments getting conflicting answers from Express Scripts Agents. When the mail order delivery is late the promised refund fails to materialize.
