investigate the feasibility of creating an optional Birth Control Fund in place of mandated Birth Control coverage.

Created by C.S. on January 11, 2013

Far too many people and businesses are fully against the birth control coverage mandated by the Affordable Care Act. I propose that we instead set up a fund for birth control coverage for the poor, and that all taxpayers have the option to pay as much or as little as they choose into this fund, with their donation being tax deductible. Those who qualify for coverage may then be granted birth control paid in full by this fund. No religious institutions or businesses with religious background will have any reason to object, as they are not required to pay for the birth control that violates their religious beliefs, while those who would otherwise be unable to afford birth control would be able to obtain it.
